What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser to remember information between visits, such as the language you chose or an identifier that lets the site recognise the same browser on a later visit. Alongside cookies there are other storage technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), to which this policy applies equally.

Depending on who manages them, cookies are first-party (set by the website owner) or third-party (set by another organisation, such as Google). Depending on their purpose, they may be technical, analytics or advertising cookies. Advertising cookies (only with your consent):

_gcl_au and related cookies · Google Ads · Record whether a visit came from one of the clinic's Google ads and whether it led to a conversion (for example a call placed from the website), in order to measure campaign performance. Duration: 90 days.

Google Maps. The contact section embeds a Google Maps map. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies for the operation of the map and the security of its services, in accordance with its cookie policy at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

The Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies are loaded through Google Tag Manager, a tag manager that does not set cookies by itself. All of these services are provided by Google Ireland Limited; the data they collect may be transferred to the United States under the terms described in the Privacy policy.

How we manage your consent

On your first visit the website shows a cookie banner that lets you accept or refuse analytics and advertising cookies. Until you accept them, the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags do not fire and no cookies in those categories are set. The website uses Google Consent Mode v2, which passes your choice to Google's services so that they respect it.

Your decision is stored in the technical storage item cb-consent, so the banner is not shown again on later visits from the same browser. Refusing cookies does not affect how the website works or the information it shows.

How to change or withdraw your choice

You can change your mind at any time. Click the Cookies link in the footer of any page: the cookie banner opens again and you can accept or refuse once more. If you withdraw consent, the analytics and advertising tags stop firing from that moment; cookies already set can be deleted from your browser settings.

Browser settings

In addition to the cookie banner, you can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Instructions are available in the help pages of each browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge). Bear in mind that if you block all storage, the website will not be able to remember your language or your cookie choice.

You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops your browser from sending data to Google Analytics on any website.

Updates to this policy

This policy may be amended when the cookies used on the website or the applicable legislation change (Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).
